WAYNE'S THE ONLY NIGERIAN IN BRIGITTE POIRSON POETRY CONTEST!

University of Benin fresh graduate and Creative Writers member Wayne Samuel gets into the medal zone again!

The Ek-City poet who was crowned the ultimate spoken word artiste at War of Words, beating all comers in the highly rated slam emerged second in the recently concluded Brigitte Poirson Poetry Contest(May edition).

Wayne with his submission "I AM AT THE END OF THE WORDS" snatched second spot from the line up that was looking uniformly non Nigerian, making him the only Nigerian in the line up that saw Ghanian Rabiu Alhassan reigning supreme and Guyanese Gideon Samson placing third.

This feat is yet another feather added to a cap that is looking more feathery with each passing feat achieved by this fantastic young Nigerian.
